It's an annual event at our church, First United Methodist, to participate in the Live Nativity. A few years ago, some of the older couples of the church handed down the "taking care of" the Live Nativity to our Sunday School Class, the Enjoy Class. This is a very big job with all the coordinating and such. Hank & I store the stables ourselves, and it's a very big chore to put it piece by piece together every year-but OH SO WORTH IT. Cade Carter was old enough this year and he was a wise man with me. Hank was a shepherd during this one show. There's even real sheep! It's performed three times a night on the 21st, 22nd and 23rd. If you've never just driven by and made a point to stop and just listen to the beautiful music and get that serene feeling of how it was the night Jesus was born...it's a truly wonderful moment.
