The Tooth Fairy is coming to town, maybe?
Cade Carter has had his FRONT tooth hanging by a thread for two whole weeks. Hank & I both have tried to pull it and we have had no luck. Today when we were swimming he finally made up his mind to pull it. OUT CAME THE TOOTH and into the water it went. (Hank dropped it but found it!) Cade Carter wanted to hold the tooth on the way home and we told him you might lose it. Of course, he didn't listen and begged to hold it. Well guess what? HE DROPPED IT AGAIN...but this time we really can't find it. I wonder if the tooth fairy will still know to come? Being without a tooth is very unattractive but bless his heart...he is just so darn cute without it!
XOXO,
Susan

Sick boys=NO FUN!!! It all started Friday when Cade Carter calls from school claiming he has a headache and feels horrible. I was a little leary of him telling the truth, so Hank went and got him and spent the day with him. Hank said he acted fine for him once they left McDonalds?? (Are you thinking what I'm thinking?)
Next, Cam gets sick on Saturday with a fever and a headache. I question myself if maybe Cade Carter was really sick yesterday? Cam stayed home today from church and I can honestly state that the little man is VERY SICK. His fever got up to 103.6 degrees today and it was very scary. He's still a little weak and I might end up taking him to the M.D. tomorrow. We are all SICK OF BEING SICK! Our weekend consisted of LOTS OF BEDREST! I hope everyone else had a better weekend.

Swimming
We have had the pleasure to go swimming many times this summer at "The Williams Home" Nelson & Amanda are great friends to have since they have 24 hour access to a pool! But really, they are wonderful friends to have and always make us laugh. The kids love to swim and it's nice to watch our little ones play and have fun. If the Williams are reading this....Yall are the BEST and hope to have many more years of summer fun!

OH MY GOSH!!
Just in case someone has viewed my blog lately, there has been a song in my playlist that was very OBSCENE!!! Don't know how it got there, but it was definitely there. I had never heard of the song but it was probably the most obscene song I've ever heard??? Hank called to tell me, and of course I thought he was telling me a tale. So hopefully I didn't offend anyone! Going to email blogger and ask how could this happen??? LOL!

Patriot Bank Elementary Kids!!!
Patriot Bank (Tipton County) kids posed for a picture today! We are getting ready for the 2008 Football ad in the paper. I can't beleive it's almost that time again. I absolutely love fall and all it brings. My boys can't wait until Halloween so they can dress up and attend all the fun parties. This week has been somewhat crazy...We have had a time this week with Cade Carter's insect bite on his leg. He attended a birthday party Saturday night and was bitten by "something" (we think it was a horsefly) Dr. Zach thought it looked like a spider bite. After Cade Carter SCREAMED so loud we thought it was just a wasp. Anywho, it turned very yucky and he is on antibiotics. He could barely walk on Sunday but the swelling is definitely going down and he's definitely back to himself. So BEWARE OF THOSE DANG HORSEFLIES!!!

Cade Carter's 1st Day of School!
Cade Carter had a great 1st day of 2nd grade. He said his class is "great" and he really likes Ms. Glenn. He knows that this upcoming week is all about getting back to the books! I absolutely dread waking up early again. It really hasn't taken a lot of effort for the boys to get up in the morning. The problem has been me and Hank. It's just not enough hours in the day and night for us!

Boys and their new hobby...GOLF!
Hank, me and the boys went to Jackson school shopping today and we ended up at Dicks Sporting Goods Store. BIG MISTAKE!! Yes, we got the INTENDED shoe purchase but we ended up in the golf section. Both boys got their own set of clubs. It was Cade Carter's REAL birthday so he was due a present, but poor pitiful Cam threw a fit and guess who else got clubs-yes, Camden did!!! Hank spent awhile with them when we got home and there will be many more nights of practice before hitting the greens. Maybe we will make it to the green by Fall or maybe even Christmas?
On our way home we stopped and made a visit with Papa Sam (Hank's Dad) and Mama Linda. He is recovering from surgery and it was good to see him. They both presened the boys with matching HULK pajamas and they seriously think they turn into Hulk when they put them on!!

Cade Carter went to school registration and met his new 2nd grade teacher, Glen Daniels, this morning. It appears that Ms. Glen will have her hands full this year with all the boys in her class. Cade Carter had several buddies from last year in his room. There were also several that he's never been acquainted with and I feel like this will be good for him. I told him it is always a great idea to make new friends in addition to his old friends. I see girls teaming up and becoming best buddies leaving others out. I STRESS to him NOT to do this. I remember this as a child (yes, I admit I've done it too.) I see it as an adult too, and I tell Cade Carter that he will not see some of his old friends as much because they are in different classrooms. As I sit back and watch him it reminds me of so many friends that I've failed to keep in touch with over the years and how in one's lifetime, friends tend to come and go. I guess the moral to my story is friendships may fade for awhile, but they always find their way back and grow even stronger! I'm so glad I HAVE BOYS!!!

Cade Carter's 8th Birthday!
We celebrated today at "Pump it Up" for Cade Carter's 8th birthday! The kids had a blast as always. We had a baseball theme that Cade Carter requested (Check out the Cool Birthday Cake) It's actually cupcakes shaped into a cake. Cool, huh? Cade Carter received an IPOD from Mom and Dad and I'm hoping I'll figure out how to operate this microscopic OBJECT! Check out the fun pictures, even PAW PAW joined in on all the fun!!
