No training wheels!
This is a very foggy picture (due to the humidity) but as you can see Camden was not a happy camper when Daddy took his training wheels off of his John Deere bike. He was FURIOUS at his Daddy.
This is Hank showing Cam "how it's to be done!"
Cam insisted on going down the BIGGEST hill in our backyard to learn to ride. (this was more scary for me than anyone!)
He can do it! He can do it!
This is Cam's "happy" dance!!!
1st Day of School
Today was the first day of school. Camden went to Ms. Kelli Cousar's room this year (just like Cade Carter) when he was in Kindergarten.
Cade Carter went to Ms. Joshlyn Harwell's 3rd grade class. He's got lots of buddies in there this year!
Grandmother Carter's Birthday
We celebrated Grandmother's birthday this past weekend. We had lots of family in from Humbodt and Paris. It was a nice family reunion!
First Sleepover!
Cade Carter's 9th birthday consisted of a sleepover. This was quite difficult for Cade Carter because I told him he could only have 5 friends over. This was difficult for him and I know we left some buddies out but remember I've never experienced an all night sleepover with ALL these boys! It was quite interesting! They never went to sleep! We all had fun and Hank was a tremendous help because he kept them entertained.
Cade Carter insisted on a Transformer party!
Drake, Carson, Gunner, Cade Carter, Tucker, Austin, Huntley (he's hiding behind Gunner) and Camden
Cade Carter's request this year was Night Vision Goggles.

New School Schedule
I cannot believe that Monday is the first day back to school. I am trying so hard to prepare my brain for Monday. My kids are actually getting bored staying home with babysitters these past couple of weeks, which makes them appreciate going back to school. With both boys in school this year, I have got to discipline myself to get my family in a routine. I am trying to figure out how to juggle school into housework, exercise, home projects, church, cooking and having fun with family and friends. This is more of a goal that I plan to strive for to make "our" life easier.
5:45am-6:30am Drink 1 cup of coffee and walk one mile on our driveway (Hank will sometimes get up and walk with me!) And Cam joins me too as he rides his bike along my path! We are early risers!
6:30am-7:30am Get children showered, dressed and fed.
7:30am-7:45am Coffee Shop (got to get my espresso fix)
7:45am-7:55am Drop off Kiddos @ school.
8:00am-4:30 pmWork all day and enjoy not having to run kiddos anywhere on my lunch break!! I can have lunch dates again!!! (It's still sad to think my lil Cam is not in nursery school, I WILL DEFINITELY MISS PICKING HIM UP!)
5:00pm-6:00pm Arrive home and prepare dinner/Children must do homework/What will we do when soccer practice begins? Hopefully we can fit it in somewhere!
6:00pm Eat dinner and clean up house.
7:00pm Walk again! Let children play outside.
8:00pm Bathe everyone and get ready for bed!
9:00pm Bed Time!
I'm so thankful that Hank is now home with us and can help out. It's amazing how much more time I've found on my hands since he's home with us all the time! :) I can do this!
