Time Out!

I couldn't help but post this picture of Eva Dale Williams (the ref) having to tie Cam's shoes. We even double knotted them and they still came untied! This week we plan to triple know them!

Who says WHITE BOYS CAN'T JUMP?

Yes, that's Cam to the right of the picture about two feet off the ground. You GO CAM!!! This is from the ball game last Saturday! He's the smallest one on the team, but he can JUMP!

iPods!

Cade Carter got an iPod for his birthday back in August and Camden seems to enjoy it more than he does! I downloaded several songs on it for them which consists of Alvin & the Chipmunks, Life is a Highway (Movie Cars theme song) and a few Jonas Brothers songs. They lay in my bed at night and listen to it and get WILD!!!! I eventually have to put it away so they will go to bed.

BOYS AND THEIR CAMO!

Every Sunday is not only dedicated to going to church, but it's also a day where the boys get their camo on and go play with their Daddy!! Sometimes I go along with them and go riding around in the Ranger, but this particular day I chose to stay in my nice warm, toasty house! When the boys got back late in the afternoon, talk about the MUD that they brought back. Camden calls it "MUDDOGGING" in the Ranger. It's too cute when he says that. In addition to riding the Ranger every Sunday afternoon, we have made it a habit to jump in the truck around 4 pm and go to the Hatchie Bottoms and look at deer. A few Sunday's ago, Cade Carter counted 62 deer that we saw. (Just like Cade's Cove!) No need to go there when you can drive 2 miles down the road to see the deer. This past Sunday we counted only 42. It's just amazing to see these beautiful creatures hop across the field...I would have to be very hungry to actually kill one. The boys now have their own pair of binoculars and love to go scope some deer!

Winter Blues

valentines macaron Pictures, Images and Photos

Winter is definitely here but NO SNOW!! Hopefully we will see some snow this month. The boys mention almost every day if it's going to snow. Maybe we will get some soon. With winter arriving and keeping us inside, Hank & I have decided to have another Valentines party again this year. Hank will be 35 and he wants a party. Men are just like children when it comes to their birthday!! I enjoy so much to look up fun Valentines recipes to cook up and the decorating of the food is my favorite. So I'm off looking for ideas to combine his birthday with Valentines Day. (I have a month!)

Boys with their Guns!

This past Christmas Cade Carter got a Red Rider BB gun. (Just like Ralphie on Christmas Story) I took a few pics of him shooting his target. Now let me remind you he is 8 years old and this is the 1st year we feel he is responsibe enough to have just a BB gun. Well now Hank feels like we need to go a step above the BB gun and introduce him to a 20 gauge shotgun. Cade Carter shot it today and I feel he's still not quite ready for it. He claims it hurts his shoulder when he fires. So I tried it myself because I wanted to see if it really hurt-& it does!!! I guess I'm a wimp, but I'm 34 years old and it hurts and I can only imagine how Cade Carter felt when he shot it. I say go back to the BB gun and leave the shotgun alone for another year or so!!-per Mama!!!! Of course, Camden had to try the BB gun out too.

Enjoying our fire pit!

Cam couldn't wait to finally fire up our new fire pit and roast some smores as you can see by his HUGE grin on his face!!!

My Guitar Hero!

No, this picture does not mean that Cam has became a pro at Wii guitar hero...it means that he PRETENDS he's a rock star! Yes, it can be funny but yet very loud and nerve wrecking. Don't ya just love him?

Basketball Mania!

Well it's that time of year again! It's Church League basketball time. This year we have both boys playing basketball. We just had three games this past weekend and they were so much fun. Both boys play for Oak Grove Baptist Church because we have become big fans of their Wednesday night Awana Classes, therefore, we were pleased to be invited to play for them this year! Camden's 5 & 6 year old team is the cutest thing you can imagine. They are all so tiny, but they seem to know what to do-thanks to their coach, Mrs. Sandra Howard. And Cade Carter has made a huge turnaround from last year with his moves. He actually scored this past game. Go Cade Carter!!!

Oooh!!! A Slug!

We had a visitor in our house last night. It was a slimy, nasty, yucky slug. Cam got the biggest kick out of it, but poor Cade Carter probably had nightmares about it. Cam held it and played with the yucky animal but Hank couldn't believe Cade Carter seemed so scared of it. So being the manly man that Hank is, he definitely didn't want his son to be afraid of such an animal. So Hank decides to throw the dang slug around in the kitchen and Cade Carter basically had a panic attack. It landed on Cade Carter and he went ballistic. Some things are best left alone...By the way, little Landen (who is 16 months) wasn't at all scared!

Saying goodbye Christmas Tree!

Cam helped me take the tree down this past week. It was somewhat sad to realize Christmas is gone but it felt good to get our house back to order. Here's a pic of Cam helping me!
Big Mama Grandmother and MeMe!

Big Mama gave all her sons outdoor fireplaces! Cade Carter told her he can't wait to roast some smores on it!

Cade Carter and his new Tennessee Football! This is Cam saying "just one more present!"

My Daddy (PAW PAW) got really into "DIRTY SANTA!" Everyone kept taking his gifts! This is a picture of Paw Paw cracking us all up!

The Glenn Christmas '08

I told Cade Carter that he wasn't getting anything for Christmas and this is the look I got... I don't think he believed me!
Cam opening up a GIANT John Deere Tractor! He was ecstatic! Cam putting on his gloves and hat on his head!

Our family gave DiDi and "Aunt" Sarah a gift certificate for Steaks at WestSide Grocery! DiDi loves to grill out some steaks...maybe he'll invite us over for dinner!!!

Big Mama always comes to the "Glenn Christmas" & watches the boys open up presents!
