Love these Summer Nights...

This past weekend, a few of us got together with kiddos and cooked out.  Hank took all the kids on a "Roller Coaster Ride,"  (actually it was a ride on the Ranger down a very steep hill!)  The kids loved it as the held their arms up high over their heads. 
It's always nice to stay home and chill for the weekend.  I can't remember the last time we were home on the weekend.  The men cooked us steaks and we made homemade vanilla ice cream for dessert.  It was yummy!

One of our recent trips to Sardis consisted of lots of boys.  The Elders, Borens and us went out on the water and all our boys had a blast.

Pickwick 2011

One of our highlights so far this summer is our Pickwick trip with the Smith's and Richardson's.  We all had a blast. Thanks to Chad & Leigh for such a great time at the lake house. Good Times, Good Food and Good Friends.

I love our expressions...you got Cam screaming to STOP, you got Cade Carter relaxing backwards, Hank yelling woo hoo....and me having a good ole time.  Fun times except for Cam.

My first attempt at decorating cookies.  I finally found the food coloring I've been searching for!

Hank had his baseball team "Bank of Tipton," a swimming party out at the Country Club.  (This would be Cade Carter's team!)  All the boys had a great time getting together one last time.  Hank turned out to be an excellent coach, and I hope that he will continue coaching next year.  Some people who are good at something doesn't realize their talents.  With that said, I hope he will coach again.

For some reason, getting pics of Hank and the boys is so difficult.  I really wish I had gotten one of the boys and Hank too.  Oh well!  Maybe next time! By the way, the smile on Cade Carter's face is the way he "smiles" now....did I mention he will be 11 years old next month.  He's getting in that phase where "do I have to" all the time.   SMILE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
