Cade Carter made the honor roll!!!

Cade Carter made the honor roll!! (ALL A's) Hank took him to Hibbett's and bought him new baseball cleats and more baseball gear as his award. Papa Sam & Mama Linda sent him some cash in the mail and he thought he was "hot stuff." Cade Carter is so into ball this year! He has really came a long way since T-Ball.

Battle with the hair!
After five whole years of having beautiful-bright-blond-long locks of hair...Cam finally got a big boy haircut. I absolutely HATE IT!
Everyone keeps telling me it looks so good, and I'm just thinking yeah right...my baby is officially OLD now and the toddler haircut had to go?? It's just traumatic!
I can definitely say that it will be a LONG time before we go get our hair cut again...

Before and After Pics of Hank's new office

After
Wow, what a difference a week can make...Our family has prayed for years for Hank to understand God's plan. Over the years, Hank has worked 72 hours a week, with hardly any time off. Ever since we were married I got used to his long hours. Once we had children it was somewhat frustrating, but we kept going and always tried to keep a positive attitude. A couple of years ago, Hank was approached by a friend that saw Hank's potential needed to work for his company. Hank's ability to sell is a gift, and that's just what he's always done. One would say that Hank could talk to the president but he can also talk to Bubba down the street and his judgment no differs. Hank has officially left the car business. He is now working for Herff Jones Company. Our prayers over the past couple of years have been answered. He will be over the yearbook sales in the West Tn area and he will work from home. So we have put this home office together in less than a week and I just had to post so we will always have memories of the "Used to be Playroom!" We went from blue to orange! If anything we've learned from this experience, we know now that God's plan is now giving us the family time that is well deserved! PS check out Hank's new wheels! A ford taurus with extremely dark tinted windows!! It cracks me up!
Cam, Cade Carter & Huntley
This past Friday all county schools were out and Hank volunteered to keep the boys. It was Cade Carter's turn to have a friend over and he decided to invite Huntley Rose. Huntley is in Cade Carter's class at school (and they are on the same baseball team too) and this pair played themselves to death all day. Once the day was over, Huntley really wanted Cade Carter to come stay the night at his house. Talk about someone who was so excited to actually be going to stay the night at a friend's house. Looks like they would have been tired of each other, but no chance! Cam missed his brother but we kept him busy. We took Cam and went to Erwin's to eat dinner and our neighbors Blake, Crystal and baby Landen went with us so Cam was occupied for the night! Cam loves baby Landen!

Basketball Banquet
This is Cam mad at the world...he told me he "hated trophies"
This is Cam deciding that he actually does like this trophy after all!
This is our 1st child, who always has a smile on his face!!! But he's been known to throw a few in his past years! The boys attended their basketball banquet at Oak Grove Baptist Church last night. They both received trophies for playing this year which was so nice of our wonderful coaches. As everyone has experienced and seen a Camden Fit, he sometimes can be the MOST stubborn little boy known to man. Well he decided to put one on last night. He refused to go up to the front of the gym to accept his trophy. Needless to say he was FORCED into it. I threatened to call his Daddy to come and give him a spanking. (gotta have some blackmail sometimes) Well he eventually decided he better get his tail up there and sure enough, once he got to the front and faced everyone, he was a new kid. It's almost like split personality!
So these pics capture the moment of me in disbelief and Cam finally being happy...And of course Cade Carter just cheesed real big when he got his medal and trophy! Hopefully our little fits will be outgrown (better sooner than later!)

Saturday Play Date
Cam had a Saturday playdate over this past weekend, Hudson Freeman. Talk about two boys with a lot of energy. These two played golf, played wii, rode bikes, rode the ranger, and played trains...do I sound out of breath...we were all over the place. But what fun they had getting into it all! Cam has finally gotten to the age where if big brother Cade Carter has a friend to play with, then he wants one too!! I see these two boys getting together many more times in the future! Sunday Snow Day
What a way to bring in March! I haven't seen this much snow in years. It is absolutely beautiful. It just sparkles everywhere! We found out last night church was cancelled today so we all made big plans to wake up early and get out and have some fun. When I think of early, I'm thinking maybe 8:00 am at the earliest. But NO NO NO the boys were up at 5:00am, (yes, I said 5am!) Austin spent the night with us and I heard pitter patter on our floors early morning and knew they were up looking out the windows. Hank got the ranger and attached one of Dustin's old trunk hoods to it and off we went. IT IS SO COLD!!! We came in to dry our clothes and get some hot chocolate. Since I'm UP so early, I went ahead and posted these pics to my blog!! Again, it's such a beautiful snow...Congratulations Lesley!

Baby Kayson got lots of precious gifts and the hostess gift presented by myself, Sherry (my Mama) Sarah and Phyllis was a gift certificate to Phil Ramsey Photography which just about made Lesley cry because she knows how precious her babies memories are going to be!!
We love you Lesley!

The kids keep begging for a pet and we've tried having a fish, but they usually die or (I forget to clean the tank, etc) A neighbor of mine had some kittens and I decided to get two for the boys. Of course with our allergies, the cats are to stay outside but they are just so darn cute! Of course Hank HATES them and wouldn't talk to me for a couple of days when I got them but I think hopefully he's over his anger by now. These kittens were the boys valentines presents.
