Ball season has came to an end for us. It just seems like yesterday we started practicing. Cade Carter has excelled so much this year in ball. He played catcher the majority of time and when it came to getting people out-he was the man. It was very clear to us that Cade Carter's maturity level was seen amongst all the coaches. I really thought he was going to make all stars but it seemed that when playing for Dixie Youth-you just don't know what your going to get. It can be so frustrating to see some of the better players not make it. It honestly didn't bother Cade Carter that he didn't make it. I think it bothered me more than anyone but life goes on! The team came in 2nd in their league and Cade Carter did INDEED win the Best Sportsmanship award out the entire Coach Pitch league...we are so proud of him-not just for the award but for being the mature little boy that he has grown into-Way to go Cade Carter!
